Is there any software which can be used to process questionnaires?

Processing questionnaires manually can be time consuming and prone to error. The most efficient way to collect information from forms or questionnaires is to use forms processing software.

The software automatically extracts and captures data from the fields on a form and any queries will be highlighted at the verification stage. The key to the successful use of forms processing software is in the design of the form, ensuring that the size and structure of the fields allows the software to perform as accurately as possible.

As most questionnaires are handwritten the verification stage allows checks and corrections to be carried out if necessary. The accuracy, however, is extremely good so very little human intervention is required.

As well as capturing the data from forms they are also scanned so the electronic images can be viewed on screen. As soon as processing has been completed the paper copies can be confidentially destroyed, saving on storage and filing costs.
